In the coming months, we will showcase a number of Gary's specially embellished prints to be featured in the Live and silent auctions.

Gary has spent between one and three days on each print, adding many thousands of new pencil strokes to create an even more detailed, more dynamic and quite unique picture. The artist's original drawings are extremely rare, so embellished prints are the perfect way to own something of Gary's art that's close to an original.

Since 2015, he has embellished over 300 prints, created for various charities including Born Free. All have sold for great prices, with 1993s 'Snow Leopard' being auctioned in 2016 for an incredible £6,700. 

The Live auction on 1st October 2024 will be conducted by BBC TVs James Lewis, who is a loyal patron of Born Free. James has won numerous top awards for his engaging style of auctioneering and is regularly seen on our TV screens, including in Bargain Hunt, Flog It, Dickinson's Real Deal and Cash in the Attic.  He also holds a Guinness World record in auctioneering.

The silent auction will end on 5th October.

Bidding will open one month before the DRAWN FROM THE HEART exhibition date.
